Chef Faila to end Cook-a-thon Marathon 10 am Wednesday – Management

The Management of Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has disclosed that she will be ending her quest to break the Guinness World Record in the longest cooking marathon by an individual by 10 am on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

According to her management, their decision is based on their assessment and in the best interest of the chef.

Chef Failatu’s management however indicated that the chef insisted she wanted to continue cooking after her medical team declared that she was fit to continue but they convinced her to respect their decision and end the marathon.

Her management revealed that an after-party will be held to thank the good people of Ghana for their massive support through her journey to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak, a chef based in Tamale in the Northern region is embarking on the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual.

Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has since broken the Ugandan chef Dorcus Mirembe, popularly known as Mama D Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon with a cooking time of 144 hours and 20 minutes.

Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has since done over 200 hours and is expected to end with a time of 240 hours.
