Algerian club CS Constantine have safely arrived in Ghana for their upcoming CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round first leg fixture against Ghanaian side Nsoatreman FC.
The Smurfs will take on the Ghanaian FA champions at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, September 13, 2024, before hosting them in the second leg in a week’s time in Constantine.
The Constantine contingent touched down at the Kotoka International Airport around 3pm with a chartered Air Algerie flight.
They immediately headed to Alisa Hotel, where they will lodge ahead of the match.
Constantine arrived in Ghana without captain Miloud Rebiai, who is presently nursing an injury alongside Nigerian forward Tosin Omoyele due to visa issues.
However, head coach Kheireddine Madoui named new signing Achraf Boudrama in the travelling squad. The defender is expected to replace the injured Rebiai.
The winner of this tie will book a place in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage, which will kick off in October.
