On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, twenty-three Black Stars gathered at the Marrakech Sports City training facility to prepare for upcoming international friendly matches against Nigeria and Uganda.

Coach Otto Addo has been guiding the team’s training since Monday, with the fixtures set for Friday, March 22, and Tuesday, March 26, 2024, respectively.

Thirteen players initially formed the camp, with the rest joining on Tuesday evening, all showing impressive fitness and eagerness to secure spots in the team as Ghana begins a new era under Addo’s leadership.

These friendlies offer Addo a chance to assess his squad before the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in June and other future engagements.

The camp features players like Osman Bukari, Edmund Addo, Jerome Opoku, and others, with the roster completed by Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, and more.

The first friendly against Nigeria is slated for Friday, March 22, 2024, at the Grande de Stade Marrakech in Morocco.
