Barcelona and Chelsea are no longer in the running as Man Utd and European powerhouses compete for the services of 16-year-old Croatian wonderkid.

MANCHESTER UNITED is reportedly interested in signing Dino Klapija, a teenage phenomenon.

With Croatian team NK Kustosija, the 16-year-old center forward is building a name for himself.

He has represented Croatia at the youth international level.

He was most recently called up for the U17 squad of the United States of America, which is where he was born.

Some of the top clubs in Europe are interested in Klapija.

They include AC Milan, Juventus, Barcelona, and Chelsea, according to The Mail.

But with the other clubs having withdrew, it is now believed to be a direct shootout between Manchester United and RB Leipzig.

Both parties are prepared to spend £5 million to get the wonderkid.

However, the environment that the young person’s selected club may foster for him is a key factor.

Klapija’s family wants to make sure he can continue his studies and settles down happily wherever he goes.

Additionally, Man United aren’t just interested in the American-born forward.

Additionally, Finley Gorman, a winger for Leeds, is apparently a target for them.

The playmaker, who is only 14 years old, is being pursued by a number of teams, including fierce rivals Manchester City.
