AYUM TO BECOME BEST TIMBER PROCESSING FACTORY IN AFRICA – ALAN
The government injected GH¢6.5 million into Ayum Forest Product Limited, a timber processing factory at Mim in the Asunafo North District, to revive the company when Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen
was the Minister of Trade and Industry.
The company, which has been adopted under the One District One Factory (1D1F) programme, was shut down in 2016 due to financial and operational challenge.
The leader of the Movement for Change, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen on Genesis in the morning host by Nana Yaw Wonder explained that, Ayum will become the best timber process factory in Africa when voted in power.
Explaining his Great Transformational Plan (GTP) which he think is the solution to Ghanaians Problem he said, he will make huge investment in factories to create more job to the youth which Ayum Timber Processing factory in be beneficial.
Furthermore Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen said, Ayum isn’t performing as is to perform due to that, his administration will put proper measures to strengthen Ayum for job creation and exportation.
He concluded that, with so doing, Ayum timber processing factory will be the best in Africa .
