Chris Hughton, the coach of Ghana’s national team, has revealed the 25-man squad set to compete in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Madagascar and Comoros this month. Notable inclusions are Joseph Wollacott, returning as goalkeeper after overcoming an injury, and players like Kasim Adams, Daniel Amartey, Osman Bukari, and KamalDeen Sulemana, who missed the October games against Mexico and the USA.

The squad boasts a mix of experience and talent, including captain Andre Ayew, Denis Odoi, Majeed Ashimeru, and Baba Idrissu. The team is gearing up for a crucial match against Madagascar at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday, November 17th, followed by a clash with Comoros in Moroni on Tuesday, November 21st.

In a group that also includes Mali, Ghana aims to secure two victories to enhance their chances of topping the group and earning a spot in the 2026 tournament, co-hosted by the USA, Mexico, and Canada.

The Black Stars will be eager to bounce back from their recent losses to Mexico and USA, and the upcoming games against Madagascar and Comoros provide an opportunity for them to regain their momentum.

With a talented squad and a strong team spirit, Ghana are well positioned to make a successful bid for qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
