FANS of Mason Greenwood’s probable new team have weighed in on the footballer’s comeback.

After leaving Manchester United, the striker, 21, has been linked to a loan transfer to Besiktas, a major Turkish club.

Turkey may provide Mason Greenwood with a football lifeline.

Last week, Greenwood and Man United’mutually decided’ on his departure.

Although the Süper Lig transfer window deadline isn’t until September 15, it’s believed that another Turkish team is also interested.

The football-crazy fans Orunc Kamiloglu, a Besiktas supporter, believes that if Greenwood replicates his United form on the field, Turkey won’t be deterred by the accusations made against him.

He hasn’t been found guilty of any crimes, so why should it matter, the supporter said.

“The fans will adore him and take him to their hearts if he performs well in the black and white jersey.”

Other fans have expressed their opinions on the potential move on social media, with some urging the team to “take the risk”

One other person remarked, “He is a pure talent who will be of great use to us at the forward end.”

Others, however, have criticized their club for the connections, claiming that Beşiktaş is a progressive club with strong morals.

“This man was heard by all. At our club, he has no place. Avoid becoming engaged.

The action was dubbed “utterly despicable” by another.

It follows a source telling The I that if Greenwood returned with strong performances, unhappiness with him would quickly vanish.

But a brief loan is enticing, they added. He’ll swiftly make his way back to Manchester if something goes wrong.

If he arrives in Istanbul and scores right away, the jeers will dissipate swiftly.

Regardless of the negative impression it produces, that is simply how football operates. I believe his admirers in Turkey will welcome him.

Greenwood was initially expected to be reunited with the team at Old Trafford, but United later changed its mind in response to public outcry.

But it has recently come to light that Besiktas and another Turkish team are reportedly willing to give Greenwood a chance to play football again.

Any agreement will be on a loan basis, and prospective teams are reportedly wary because the striker hasn’t played since January 2022.

If the relocation to Turkey goes forward, Greenwood will trade in his residence in one of Cheshire’s affluent communities for a new setting.

And he might soon be settling in Bebek if he transfers to Besiktas.

Bebek will provide a striking contrast to the lush constraints of Bowdon and Hale with its spectacular beachfront on the Bosphorus.

However, it now seems that Bebek can rival the upscale car dealerships and wine bars connected to Wilmslow and Alderley Edge with ease.

United may have to fulfill his £75,000 per week contract if they are unable to find him a new club.

That still has two years remaining to run, and the club has the option of extending it by another year if they so choose.

That entails a payout of around £8 million.

At first, Greenwood thought he was working out in private to go back to United.

The final choice to kick him out of the club has left him dissatisfied.

On January 19, 2022, Greenwood celebrates his goal against Brentford in the Premier League.
