Adaklu NDC Embarks On Communal Labor at Adaklu Waya-Adaklu Torda.

The leadership of the National Democratic Congress in Adaklu constituency embarks on communal labor today between Adaklu Waya, the district capital, Adaklu Kpodzi and Adaklu Torda.

 

This has come necessary due to the deplorable nature of the road between these three Communities. This is posing a lot of danger to lives and properties in these areas.

Leadership of the NDC party engaged the chiefs and elders of these Communities in other to carry this exercise since they are the primary beneficiaries of the road and vice versa.

 

The assembly member for the Torda electoral area, Hon. Samuel Atormy Dorfe, thanked the organisers and the youths for such initiative.

He encouraged them to do more when the need arises again.

 

 

The Constituency chairman, Hon. Jerry Yao Ameko, extended his gratitude to the youths for showing up for the work. He bemoaned the Adaklu District Assembly’s inability to reshape the Adaklu inner roads for some time now. “The Adaklu district assembly that was given to us by the NDC, didn’t come in isolation, rather, it came with equipment to work with, a grader to reshape our roads at least”, he stressed.

Hon. Jerry Yao Ameko promised the youths that, the next NDC will focus much on their basic needs and Adaklu roads will not be exempted.

 

On behalf of the minority Chief Whip, and Member of Parliament, Hon Kwame Governs Agbodza, the party presented some soft drinks for refreshment.

 

The Constituency chairman re-echoed that, similar activities will be carried out at other places in the Constituency. He is therefore encouraging all constituents to be actively involve should the need arises.
