At halftime of their match against Preston, Levi Colwill, a star for CHELSEA, disclosed that manager Mauricio Pochettino gave his team the infamous “hairdryer treatment”.
The Blues and their Championship opponent were even at the half, with no goals scored.

Pochettino told Chelsea that their first-half performance was insufficient when they failed to challenge Preston sufficiently.
Colwill told ESPN, when asked if he and his teammates had been given the hair dryer treatment at halftime, “Something like that!
“However, I believe we needed it since everyone could see that we were inadequate.
“The second half was much better.”
After 58 minutes, Armando Broja headed in a cross from Malo Gusto to give Chelsea the lead for good.
In the 66th minute, Thiago Silva headed Cole Palmer’s corner past goalkeeper Freddie Woodman. Shortly after, Raheem Sterling scored from a free kick.
Late in the game, Enzo Fernandez completed the scoring from close range to give the Blues an easy 4-0 victory.
Colwill continued, praising his teammates’ efforts, saying, “Raheem usually practices free kicks the day before a game and he always scores.
“I believe he’s scored twice already, once in Newcastle and the other today, so he’s an expert at free kicks from that position.
“Armando is a fantastic striker and a personal friend of mine. I love playing with him.
Since I am aware of his potential, I always give him encouragement. He demonstrated it today with his goal.”
Palmer in particular seemed to be frustrating Pochettino, as the Argentine was spotted arguing angrily with the former Manchester City starlet at the conclusion of the game.
Colwill and Silva shared the starting center-back position for the entire ninety minutes, with Malo Gusto on the left and rookie Alfie Gilchrist on the right of the defense.
The Blues will return to action on Tuesday when they play the opening leg of their Carabao Cup semifinal against Middlesbrough.
Next Saturday, they will play their first Premier League match at home against Fulham, their neighbors.
