The founder and leader of Cross Of Salvation Church situated in Sampa, in the Jaman North District of the Bono Region, Reverend Prophet Gabriel Yeboah has as part of the commemoration of Father’s Day cautioned all fathers to be responsible by accepting and playing their roles in the family as expected of them.
He said it is the responsibility of every father to take good care of their children and so a father must be responsible in providing the needs and wants of his children and ensuring that there are adequate resources in the house before they depart for work.
Speaking in an exclusive interview on High Radio, Rev. Gabriel Yeboah pleaded with fathers to seize today’s father’s celebration to unravel any discrepancies in the house in ensuring adequate care is provided for the children, wife, and the entire family to help build a successful family stressing that if the children are not well raised, it will go a long way to affect the family, the society and the country at large.
Comparing the celebration of Father’s Day to that of mothers, The man of God noted that there is extremely low patronage in the Father’s Day celebration attributing the cause to the busy schedules of men who have to provide money for their children through their wives. He bemoaned how most of the wives also take the credit without making it known to the children the real sources of their finances.
He, therefore charged mothers to make it known to their children when monies are given to them by their fathers adding that fathers must also take into consideration their fatherly responsibilities to bridge the gap between fathers and their families.
