In a shocking turn of events, Alhija Adamu the campaign team member of the newly elected parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma North Constituency (H.E Hon. Nana Akua Afriyieh) has been involved in a violent altercation with the constituency party administrator known as Mathias. The incident occurred shortly after the candidate’s victory in the election.
According to eyewitnesses, the new parliamentary candidate elect supporters went to the party office to remove the current MP’s posters from the party office. On Wednesday Alhija Adamu, sent a strong warring to the party Administrator through the constituency Chairman and Secretary, telling them to sack him or else this boy will come after him at the party office within a week. Because he feels Mathias wasn’t natural within the parliamentary contest. Mathias reported the case to the police which Alhija Adamu was invited but hasn’t shown up yet. On Thursday, around 2:30 pm, Alhija Adamu attacked Mathias at a shop close to the party office, claiming does Mathias think he can arrest him, this led to a heated argument between the two individuals and escalated into a physical confrontation by Alhija Adamu, which nearly resulted in the administrator being assaulted by the campaign team member of the parliamentary candidate elect. Chairs and signposts were destroyed during the heat.
