He hasn’t been able to turn around the team’s awful home record, as they lost to Brentford in most recent game.

Prior to Monday’s match, Petit, 53, likened the Blues to league leaders Tottenham and expressed dissatisfaction within the team.

“It’s incredible, especially in midfield, how much confidence Ange Postecoglou has given the players,” he said to OLBG. It’s crucial to note that they appear to be having fun and playing football together as friends.

“Every player can’t be happy all the time, but you have to try,” he said.

“I’m not sure how many players are showing up smiling, but Pochettino has attempted to get that with his team.

“Chelsea are struggling and the manager is struggling to put his vision on the pitch.”

“Weigh that against Tottenham. You can observe the players’ and managers’ support. What’s really important to me is that they’re having fun.

A victory over competitors Spurs may ignite their season and Pochettino is thrilled to return to the club he managed for five years.

“To come back after four years where we create amazing memories together is really special,” he remarked. I won’t lie—it is truly unique.

“As of right now, I won’t say anything because it’s impossible to predict what will happen at the reception until Monday.

The most crucial thing is that people understand that we will always remember our incredible memories of our time spent together. After that, I will respect everyone for the way they choose to express themselves.

“But it is not going to change my emotion, my view, my feelings about a club that has had an unbelievable journey.”
