A 30-year-old man identified as Kwadwo Afful, has been beaten to death at Sehwi Ahibenso in the Bodi District of the Western North Region after failing to render to his boss proper account of weed sold.
It was reported that Kwadwo Afful was gang-beaten to death after failing to return the money he got from the weed he was given to sell.
The deceased was left on the principal street of Ahibenso on Thursday morning.
According to the grandfather of the deceased, Daniel Kwasi Tawiah, he saw a crowd on the street and he went there to find out what was happening, only to be told some ghetto guys have beaten his grandchild to death for not rendering account of weed he was given to sell by one of the ghetto boys.
He immediately informed the police at Bodi and the body was picked up and deposited at the Juaboso Government Hospital morgue for further investigation.
Meanwhile, the suspects are on the run.
However, the brother of the deceased Oliver Ackah said the family will not stay unconcerned until all the perpetrators are arrested.
He revealed those who beat his junior brother dead are known in the community.
