Member of Parliament for Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfro, Hon. Felix Nii Akwetey Okle, has swiftly responded to mounting concerns from taxi drivers and road users within the constituency over the poor condition of roads in the area.

Drivers lamented the increasing damage to their vehicles and disruption to transportation, blaming the deteriorating road network. But Hon. Okle, who is not only MP but a resident himself, has taken their concerns seriously—assuring them that steps are already underway to bring the roads back to life.

The MP revealed that he is currently in active discussions with the Minister of Roads to ensure that full-scale construction works begin soon across the constituency.

In the meantime, he has collaborated with the Municipal Assembly to deploy DRIP machines for reshaping the most affected roads, making them motorable while waiting for major construction to begin.

Hon. Okle appealed to his constituents, especially commercial drivers, to exercise patience, noting that he understands their frustrations and is committed to delivering long-term solutions.

“As a son of this land, I feel what my people feel. That’s why I’m leaving no stone unturned in ensuring these roads are fixed,” he said.
