🚨🇬🇭 MOHAMMED FUSEINI CONFIDENT IN GHANA’S WORLD CUP QUALIFICATION HOPES
Union Saint-Gilloise forward Mohammed Fuseini believes Ghana has what it takes to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup after their recent victories over Mali and Central African Republic in June.
With the Black Stars leading Group I with 15 points, the team is set to face Chad and Madagascar in their next qualifiers in September, before wrapping up the campaign in October against Comoros and Central African Republic.
Speaking to Flashscore, Fuseini said:
“I think it’s possible. The coaches know what I can offer. I just need to stay fit, perform well at club level, and be ready when the opportunity comes.”
He also emphasized his desire to keep improving:
“I want to avoid injuries, stay fit throughout the season, and work on my finishing and 1v1 skills.”
Fuseini made his senior national team debut in the Unity Cup match against Trinidad and Tobago in London and remains focused on contributing more to the team.
