Ramadan Fasting: Dormaa Central MP donates to Muslims within his constituency

 

The Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central Constituency, Honorable John Kwame Adu Jack, has made a benevolent contribution to the Muslim community within his constituency to assist them during the sacred month of Ramadan.

In delivering the goods on his behalf, Mr. Hinneh Daniel, Deputy Secretary for the NDC in Dormaa Central Constituency, emphasized that the Member of Parliament is profoundly grateful for the honor bestowed upon him by being elected to represent the Dormaa Central constituents in Parliament. He underscored that this significant achievement in his life calls for prayers from the clergy and the Muslim community. Therefore, as Muslims undertake the Ramadan fast, he found it fitting to support them with rice, sugar, and other provisions to aid them in breaking their fast.

The items presented included 9 bags of rice, 14 bags of sugar, 5 packs of milk, and 5 packs of cooking oil.

 

Receiving the Items on behalf of the Dormaa Central Municipal Chief Imam, Sheikh Zakaria Ibrahim, the 2nd Deputy Municipal Chief Imam, Ali Amadu, expressed deep gratitude to Allah for the successful and peaceful conclusion of the 2024 general elections.

He offered prayers for divine strength upon the President and the Dormaa Central MP, Hon. John Kwame Adu Jack, so that they may fulfill their mandate to advance the development of both Ghana and the Dormaa Central Constituency.
